We all know that finding a job or a new job is very tough in this current very tough job market. A while ago you could just take a look at the Sunday newspaper to view th Help Wanted and there they were, rows upon rows of job openings all around your town. However, we all know that Newspapers are dead at this point and Social Media has swiftly taken the place of traditional forms of media so that option is out .
So, until recently it was easy enough to find a job using Craigs List, Careerbuilder or Monster, these avenues have always been successful for me. However it seems that these avenues are quickly becoming harder to use as the source of searching for employment. This is primarily because Social Media has really impacted this area as well.
We can view this as an obstacle or become creative and step our game up. It seems that there a lot of people that have opted to be creative and we have to view them as competition and step it up.
I've been exporing some of the avenues that are being used in Social Media for creatively searching for a job, starting with exploring Digital Resume Options and looking into Twitter as an aveue to search for a job.
