1. iTee

Said to be "perfect for men and women with a digital lifestyle," the "iTee" from Aussie co iClothing boasts a pouch for your 'Pad. Would you wear it?

Rusty's "Wired Series" boasts built-in machine washable earphones. The "Swept Away" hoodie is pretty in pink.

A classic tee with a high-tech twist, this boasts a zippered chest pocket for an iPod, iPhone, or similar portable gadget, a "Personal Area Network" for built-in wire management, and two further side seam pockets.

More from Rusty. This is a cross between a shirt and a hoodie, and includes those cool built-in earphones.

Another iClothing offering, the iDress is a sateen LBD with a difference. That difference is, as you've likely guessed, a pouch for your iPad! iClothing claims it will take you "from the office to the cocktail lounge," but we're not sure you'd get that far if the Fashion Police are on patrol.

Not only does Koyono's coat have "the perfect number of pockets to manage your gadgets," but thanks to its "Elektex" smart fabric interface, it boasts integrated five-button iPod controls. The future is now, man.

Although in most parts of the world it might be a little chilly to sport this dress, come summer we think this garment, again with built-in, waterproof earphones, will fly off the shelves.

New York-based custom gentlemen's tailors Mohan's offer an iPad pocket option for a more satorial take on gadget-friendly clothing.

You need not be without your precious phone even when you're down to just your undies with SCOTTeVEST's high tech boxers. The front pocket is designed to fit a smartphone while the back pocket will conceal a passport, credit cards and the like.

The M-Dress is not just a garment, it's a "functional soft electronics mobile phone." It accepts a standard SIM card and can make and receive calls. To answer a call the wearer simply lifts a hand to the ear, and to end a call, puts that hand back down. It's due to be available this year, so it might not be long before you hear the once-unlikely line, "excuse me, my dress is ringing."

#iPad 2 for $124 #Gazelle

Amplify’d from www.fastcompany.com

How to Get an iPad 2 for $124 [Update: Hurry!]

Gazelle iPad offer

Do the math. Gazelle is buying back old iPads, starting at $375. iPad 2s are $499. Also, Apple's quietly selling iPad 1s for $399 ($100 off). Here's where to find these deals, and the answer to the question, "Who the hell's Gazelle?"

The introduction of the iPad 2 leaves a slew of iPad owners with outdated devices in its wake. But there's no need to wallow in being left behind. Recommerce site Gazelle is attempting to drum up business by offering up to $595 for old iPads--so you can, in other words, practically trade in your old iPad for a new one.

Meanwhile, Apple is also offering $100 off the last generation of iPads. But rest assured that if you buy a new one, you'll probably be able to cash in on it when the iPad 3 comes out, thanks to Gazelle.

Gazelle's payouts start at $375 for the old iPad 16GB with Wi-Fi (retail: $499) and range up to $595 for the 64GB Wi-Fi+3G version (retail: $829). Prices will only stay at their current rate until Saturday tonight, when Gazelle lowers the cash payouts for each model. In the meantime, customers can simply sign up at Gazelle, ship their iPads to the company within 30 days (the deal expires after that), and get big bucks in return.

UPDATE: Hurry! Gazelle just wrote this in a follow-up message to Fast Company: "In an unusual turn of events, Apple has dumped their iPad inventory into the used market, significantly swelling the supply and ultimately driving down prices. Gazelle will not be able to maintain the prices through Saturday, and they may even drop as early as tonight. They’re trying to hold out on them for as long as possible before it becomes a net negative offer."

Is Motorola's #Xoom real competition for #iPad

Motorola’s Xoom Starts Tablet Wars With iPad

PTECH-JUMP

The Xoom’s screen is long and narrow, good for widescreen video.

After months of speculation, the tablet wars begin in earnest this week. Motorola is releasing its Xoom tablet on Feb. 24, and I consider it the first truly comparable competitor to Apple’s hit iPad. That is partly because it is the first iPad challenger to run Honeycomb, an elegant new version of Google’s Android operating system designed especially for tablets.

The Xoom has a more potent processor than the current iPad; front and rear cameras versus none for the iPad; better speakers; and higher screen resolution. It also can be upgraded free later this year to support Verizon’s faster 4G cellular data network (though monthly fees may rise.)

Motorola is taking aim at the iPad just as Apple is expected to announce, next week, a second-generation of its tablet. Little is known about this second iPad, but it’s widely expected to take away at least one of the Xoom’s advantages over the original iPad—cameras—and is rumored to be thinner and lighter, since weight was one of the most common complaints about the generally praised first iPad.

The iPad has way more tablet-specific apps—around 60,000 versus a handful—and, in my tests, much better battery life. Plus, whatever the specs say, it’s a fast device with a beautiful screen that delights people daily. But, overall, the Xoom with Honeycomb is a strong alternative to the original iPad, and one that will only improve over time.

Unfortunately for consumers looking for iPad alternatives, the Xoom has an Achilles’ heel: price. While iPads come in a range of models priced all the way up to $829—none of which requires a cellphone contract—Apple’s entry price for the iPad is just $499. By contrast, the base price of a Xoom without a cellphone contract is $800—60% more. And even with a Verizon two-year contract at $20 to $80 a month—depending on the data limit you choose—the least you can pay for a Xoom is $600, or 20% more before counting the contract costs.
